On Saturday 7th June a group going to Church Without Walls Westminster, saw two guys sleeping under blankets in a doorway they stopped and offered the guys sleeping bags and sandwiches, when giving out any sleeping bags the team always make it clear that God loves the person and that the sleeping bags are a gift from Jesus, the team members also always pray with anyone receiving the bags.
When the AUOS guys left to go back to the car they heard one of the two homeless guys shouting “Jesus sent the sleeping bags, Jesus sent the sleeping bags”
That same morning they also gave out three more sleeping bags and sandwiches to people sleeping in doorways. And prayed for each of them.
These homeless people are so grateful that someone would go to them where they are sleeping and give them a sleeping bag, food and a prayer it often reduces them to tears.
